Larnaca - Pyla
Larnaca has been enchanting visitors for more than 6,000 years and despite being one of the island's major centres it's managed to retain its intimate charm and sense of scale. Walking through the city's streets you feel as if you've been transported back to a time when the world worked at a much slower pace, but Larnaca is a thoroughly modern community that offers all you need to live in the 21st century!

You can spend hours exploring a maze of small markets and back streets full of amazing little shops that offer all that's best in Cypriot arts and crafts: there's intricately woven and very beautiful textiles, unique pottery stonework and stunning bronze artifacts. The seafront is always full of life, and you con stroll under a long line of palm trees (from which Larnaca gets its name) to the newly restored and very stylish marina.
The restaurants and bars, clubs and entertainment venues are amongst the most modern and stylish in Europe, and so you get the best of both worlds: the true spirit of the Mediterranean and the energy of modern Europe - all in one fantastic place!

Pyla is a prime residential location. It's just a couple of minutes from the sea, and only six miles from Larnaca and its international airport. It's a very welcoming place that retains the traditional atmosphere of old Cyprus but offers all you'd need to live a completely modern lifestyle.

At the heart of the village is a beautiful Orthodox church surrounded by a square that's always full of life. Just down the road is the village mosque, and in between are Greek and Turkish coffee shops offering you the chance to taste the best of both traditions.

Pyla is a unique place, not only on Cyprus, but in Europe, and it's perfect for the discerning investor looking for somewhere that's not only well connected – you're close to the main highway, not far from the airport, and within easy reach of all the major population centres on the island – but also offers a haven that's truly Mediterranean.

From Pyla you can enjoy a host of local attractions. You can get to the island’s capital, Nicosia, in just 20 minutes and enjoy all that this friendly and vibrant city has to offer. Limassol is also 30 minutes in the other direction, and it’s easy to get across to other parts of the island using the well-maintained major roads.
Of course, one of the best things about Cyprus is the stunning coastline with its wonderful beaches. You’re just five minutes from the golden sands, and, once you’ve spent the day by the seashore, you can find world famous nightspots just half an hour down the coast. The legendary resorts of Ayia Napa and Protaras offer all you want from a great night out – and probably more!

In contrast, you’re not far from the mysterious Troodos Mountains and pine scented forests perfect for daylong hikes into the very heart of nature. Cyprus is blessed with a spectacular landscape and you can enjoy it all easily from your home in Pyla.

There are top quality, professionally designed, golf courses within easy reach, as well as a long list of cultural sites. Larnaca is full of ancient monuments, and you can explore other attractions like historic churches, tombs and even an 18th century aqueduct.
